What do we breed

We breed AKC Standard Poodles and follow breed preservation. Bridge City Poodles strives to improve each generation by selecting the best quality that represents the breed standard.

Do we health test our Standard Poodles

Yes, we provide complete health testing for our breeding canines prior to pairing. Our Dam Crimson, is DNA health tested through embark and clear of all identified breed specific diseases. She is rcd4-PRA carrier. She is also CHIC certified beyond requirements as well. Our future stud, Hank, and our 2 girls in guardian homes will be put through the same vigorous testing before we deem them appropriate for breeding (stay tuned)!

Do we offer a health warranty

Yes, we offer a two year warranty as stated in our contract for our Standards to be free of congenital defect and disease as stated.

Now is the chance as this will be Crimson’s retirement litter. She is fully health tested beyond CHIC requirements. Crim has excelled in multiple disciplines and has even temperament. Bruno, a very handsome sire with beautiful coat is also OFA Certified with pennhip. We have received wonderful feedback from the previous litter and have several reviews from these pup families.
